Before running the crack and Update you need to change permissions on the Civ4 (or Civ4 Warlords if you're trying to install the Warlords crack and Update) executable or the crack will fail. To do so:
1. Right-click on the Civ4 (or Civ4 Warlords) executable, select "Show Package Content", you see a "Contents" folder
2. Open Terminal
3. type (without inverted commas): 'sudo chmod -R ugo=rwx ' (note the space after rwx) and then drag the "Contents" folder to the Terminal window.
4. Press Enter and the Terminal asks you for your admin password.
5. If you don't get any error message, run the crack. |
