[Question]
How do I know when the program has finished installing?
[Answer]
You don't! Whilst the program is installing you will have a timer on your mouse,
also, you might see the program icon appear then disappear from your desktop, when
this happens it usually means the program has finished installing. It is important
to not touch ANYTHING whilst these programs install, because some programs pop up
windows and your keyboard MUST BE FREE so the program can install smoothly. However,
the majority of these programs do not do this and are silent installs. The best way
to know if the program is installed is to wait for your mouse timer to go away, then
check your start menu to see if the program is there yet.
I will not be held responsible for failed installs because you couldn't WAIT a
few minutes (or seconds) for something to install! Be aware that some installers,
like Sony Vegas, might take a long time to install - this is because the M'zoft
.NET Framework (a 5 to 10 minute install) might be installing if it is required. |

NOTE: Unlike the normal installation of WindowBlinds, this specially made custom
version will not start with Windows on its own, you have to start it manually but,
after the first run as long as you apply some theme (any except the Windows Classic
or standard Windows XP theme in WindowBlinds) then it will load when Windows starts
after that with the theme you choose.
On your Start Menu under "Stardock" you will see a shortcut to the "Vista Theme".
NOTE: Running this "Vista Theme" only loads the theme into WindowBlinds - it does
not actually apply the theme. To apply the theme, run the Vista Theme from your
Start Menu and you'll see the WindowBlinds icon in the system tray appear then
disappear - now the Vista Theme is loaded in, start WindowBlinds from the other
shortcut under "Stardock" on your Start Menu and in the section at the bottom of
the WindowBlinds screen you will see the "AeroGlassV5" theme - simply double click
this theme, or any theme you want, to apply it.
To stop WindowBlinds from starting with Windows and to get back your normal
classic theme, just choose the very first theme (Classic) in WindowBlinds
and this will in effect disable the startup of WindowBlinds.
