Westlife is a four piece Irish vocal group composed of Shane Filan,Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan. They have had 14 #1 singlesgrace UK charts to date, which puts them third behind only Elvis andThe Beatles. Westlife is the only group to have their first 7 singlesdebut at #1 on UK charts. They have proven successful around the worldexcept in the United States, where they have a sparse fanbase in spiteof their A&R manager, Simon Cowell's fame.
In 2004 theybecame a fourpiece when Dubliner Brian McFadden left the band. The bandcontinued to have success in spite of being one less, and had twoadditional #1 singles. Westlife have won Record of The Year in 1999,2000, 2003, and 2005 with "Flying Without Wings", "My Love", "Mandy",and "You Raise Me Up". They have also released 4 more albums since2004; 'Allow Us To Be Frank' (a tribute to the Rat Pack), 'Face toFace' (which included one of their biggest hits in You Raise Me Up) andtheir latest, 'The Love Album', which includes 11 of the best lovesongs from the modern music era, and 'Back Home' which celebrates 10years of music.. Westlife is the Irish boyband Westlife's debut studio album and was released on November 1, 1999 in the UK. The album was put out after releasing three singles, namely "Swear It Again", "If I Let You Go" and "Flying Without Wings", all of which were UK #1 singles. The album entered the UK chart at its number 2 peak, selling little over 83,000, 1,000 sales short of being number one, which was occupied by "Steptacular" by Steps. The album was the 8th best selling of 1999 in the UK.
Overseas, this was released on US in 2000 with different tracklisting and adding "My Private Movie" produced by Cutfather and Joe. It remains the only Westlife album to date to chart in the US, peaking at #129 on the Billboard 200. It also peaked at #15 in Australia.
More Than Words, an The Extreme original, has been a single released
in Brazil and peaked at #2.
In December that same year, the double a-side single "I Have A Dream"/"Seasons In The Sun" became the Christmas #1 single of the year, and it remains as the most successful single of the band. In March 2000, the fifth and final single from the album, "Fool Again", was released and also debuted at #1.
With this, Westlife achieved five #1 singles from the same album in less than a year, a record that remains unbroken to date.
This said album was released into a boxed set with their album Turnaround on 25 January 2005. Nothing changes with the original tracklisting.

Unbreakable - The Greatest Hits Vol. 1 was the fourth album and first greatest hits album by Irish boyband Westlife and was released on 11 November 2002. It peaked at #1 in the UK and at #66 in Australia and sold close to 1.4 million copies in the UK alone. It is also the band's longest charting album. The album was the 9th best selling of 2002 in the UK. It managed to re-enter the 2007 UK Year-end albums chart at #107. On October 2008, IFPI announced that this album is already 2x Platinum or exceeding to two million sales in Europe. On UK Year-end 2008 album charts, the said album re-entered at #79 with 191 000 copies sold with the said year only.
The album consists of their past hit singles along with the following 6 new songs. First, "How Does It Feel" (Producer, Arranged By, Mixed By - Steve Mac; Written By - McFadden, Filan, Romdhane, Larossi). "Love Takes Two" (Steve Mac, Wayne Hector). The band's hit single "Flying Without Wings" was re-recorded as a duet with Korean superstar BoA and Cristian Castro, and was included on the Asian and Spanish version of the album respectively. The first single released from the album was "Unbreakable", a UK #1 single. The second single, "Tonight/Miss You Nights" peaked at #3 in the UK. The song "Written in the Stars" was sampled by DJ Ironik for his song "Stay with Me", released in 2008.

Turnaround was the fifth album by Irish boy band Westlife and it was released on 24 November 2003.
The first single released was the upbeat track, "Hey Whatever". The song is essentially a cover of Irish rock band Relish's Rainbow Zephyr but with a slightly changed set of lyrics and a different song title.
The next single was a cover of the Barry Manilow hit, "Mandy". The band's version was an instant hit, earning them their 12th UK number one and an Irish record of the year award.
"Obvious", an original song, was the third and final single released from this album.
"Turnaround" was the last album to feature former band member Bryan McFadden.
The album was the 23rd best selling of 2003 in the UK.

Face to Face was the seventh album by Irish boyband Westlife and it wasreleased in the UK on 31 October 2005. The album contains many popsongs along with some dance oriented tracks.
The first single from the album was a cover of the Secret Garden hit,"You Raise Me Up". It was this single that brought the band back intothe limelight after their ratpack-tribute Allow Us to Be Frank 2004album.
The second single released was a cover version of "When You Tell MeThat You Love Me" and was recorded as a duet with the original singer,the legendary Diana Ross.

Became, #7 and #129 in UK Year-end albums chart for2005 and 2006 respectively. It was also the biggest selling album fromSony BMG Entertainment in 2005. It remained at #1 on the AustralianARIA charts for 4 weeks in March 2006 and was the 25th highest sellingalbum of 2006 in Australia.
