TRIBE OF GYPSIES (1996)
Tribe Of Gypsies is the debut album by San Fernando Valley, California-based Latin Rock band Tribe of Gypsies.
It was initially recorded for German indie label Dream Circle Records, then bought out by major Mercury Records after the band landed a management deal with Sanctuary's Rod Smallwood after being introduced by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce ~censored~. Eventually, the band got dropped by Mercury after a regime change at the company without the album ever seeing the light of day before a licensing deal was struck with Japan's JVC/Victor Entertainment who finally released Tribe Of Gypsies in 1996.
Notable guest musicians on the album include legendary harmonica player Lee Oskar of War fame, current War drummer Sal Rodriguez, former Santana keyboardist Richard Baker, future Queensryche guitarist Mike Stone, and Dee Dee Bellson, daughter of drum icon Louie Bellson.
A promotional video for the song We All Bleed Red was shot at the band's first and to this date only European show at the Borderline club in London, UK while the members of Tribe Of Gypsies recorded the Balls To Picasso album with Bruce ~censored~ in the fall of 1993.

NOTHING LASTS FOREVER (1997)
Nothing Lasts Forever is a 6-song mini-album by San Fernando Valley, California-based Latin Rock band Tribe of Gypsies. It is the second and final release with Dean Ortega (ex-Neverland) on lead vocals.
After releasing their debut album Tribe Of Gypsies the previous year, JVC/Victor Entertainment was eager to issue a new product in anticipation of the band's 1997 tour of Japan with former Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce ~censored~ who also used ToG members Roy Z, Eddie Casillas, and David Ingraham as backing musicians in his solo band. As a result, the band came up with this mini-album consisting of 4 original songs and covers of I'm A Man, written by Steve Winwood and Jimmy Miller for the Spencer Davis Group's 1967 album of the same name, and Oh Well, written by Peter Green and first released on Fleetwood Mac's 1969 album Then Play On.
Roy Z and percussionist Doug Van Booven also cut a vastly different arrangement of Oh Well with former David Lee Roth rhythm section, bassist Billy Sheehan and drummer Greg Bissonette, and keyboardist Tommy Mandel for the Rattlesnake Guitar - The Music of Peter Green tribute album, released on Viceroy Records in 1995.
Musical guests on Nothing Lasts Forever include Downset vocalist Rey Oropeza, former Santana member Richard Baker, and keyboardist Greg Shultz (Driver, Joshua).

REVOLUCION 13 (1998)
Revolucion 13 is the second full-length album by San Fernando Valley, California-based Latin Rock band Tribe of Gypsies. It also marks the debut of Native American artist Gregg Analla (ex-Seventh Sign, 9.0) on lead vocals.
After parting ways with vocalist Dean Ortega who went on to front his own project, Revolution Child, the remaining members of Tribe Of Gypsies went into writing and rehearsal mode and would record all the music for their new album instrumentally, cutting tracks live in the studio with the full band. Months later they were put in touch with New Mexico-based vocalist Gregg Analla whose band Seventh Sign had just broken up. Analla made his way out to Los Angeles after he was sent various tracks to work on at home and laid down his vocals at Warrior guitarist Joe Floyd's studio completing the album.
Musical guests on Revolucion 13 include Nothing Lasts Forever alumni, Downset vocalist Rey Oropeza and keyboardist Greg Shultz (Driver, Joshua), as well as Ray Rodriguez who would become the band's full-time keyboard player.

TRIBE OF GYPSIES III (2000)
Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants' (also know as Tribe Of Gypsies III) is the third full-length album by San Fernando Valley, California-based Latin Rock band Tribe of Gypsies. It marks the swan song for percussionist Mario Aguilar and bassist Eddie Casillas who was replaced by Juan Perez (ex-Civil Defiance) for the final three songs the band recorded for the album, which bares the distinction of being the very first album released in the new millennium with a release date of January 1, 2000 in Japan.
The album title 'Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants' refers to a saying first attributed to Bernard of Chartres. It was most famously used by the 17th Century scientist Isaac Newton and is also inscripted on the edge of the British 2 coin.
The album contains a cover of Parisienne Walkways (dedicated to Philomena Lynott in the liner notes), originally written by Phil Lynott for Gary Moore's 1979 Back On The Streets album. The track also appears on The Spirit of the Black Rose - A Tribute to Philip Parris Lynott, released by Swedish label Record Heaven in 2001. Another song, Over All, written with Downset's Rey Oropeza, is uncredited and plays at roughly the 10-minute mark of Parisienne Walkways.
The Flower was co-written by Roy Z and Bruce ~censored~ of Iron Maiden.

DWELLER ON THE THRESHOLD (2006)
Dweller On The Threshold is the fourth full-length album by San Fernando Valley, California-based Latin Rock band Tribe of Gypsies. It was written and recorded off and on between late 2000 and early 2006 with different personnel. The first sessions took place mere weeks after getting off the road in the U.S. with Santana; the last song to be completed was 'Stop Bombing Each Other!' in early spring of '06.
It marks the debut of new lead vocalist Chas West (ex-Jason Bonham Band) and guitarist Christian Byrne who contributed bass on the album in addition to regular four-stringer, Juan Perez. Roy Z makes his lead vocal debut on La Hora and the Japanese bonus track, En El Mar, both sung in Spanish.
The album contains a cover of Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, originally released on the eponymous 1978 debut album by Van Halen.
