| “ | Balam (aka) Fred is currently writing and touring with the UK based band, Acoustic Alchemy. His first involvement was on 'The Beautiful Game' album back in 2000, Co-writing tracks such as 'Hats of Magic' and 'The Last Flamenco'.
Then in 2001 he was extensively involved on the Grammy nominated album 'ART' receiving lots of radio play with the tunes such as 'Wish You Were Near' (radio single) and the 'The Velvet Swing'.
After spending lots of time touring/soaking the U.S, and the world.. he's now completed his own debut Album '4 Floors Up', under the production name of balam.
4 Floors up is a journey through style.. groove.. vocals.. Horns.. All tied together by stunning musical performances from the likes of Miles Gilderdale (Guitar), Greg Grainger (Drums), Julian Crampton (Bass), Suzanna Dee (vocals), Fred White (Keys/Horns), plus some more bad company behind the scenes. Produced by Fred White aka balam.
" Not only is it musically a delight.. but visually the album cuts.. with a keen eye for photography.. this guy knows his senses.. " | ” |
