First some information about Windows 7 itself:
Windows 7 is launching at October 22nd.
What is RTM ?
RTM version stands for Release to Manufacturers.
RTM means that the code for Windows will be finalized and partners
will receive it and start preparations to launch new PCs.
OEM VS RTM
Microsoft create a product key for each DVD that they are selling so that it can be installed only by the buyer. However when it comes to mass distriubution like Dell and Acer, they create a RTM copy so that the DVD that is sent to Dell will only work on dell machines and non other.

Windows 7 fixes a lot of performance issues that were present in vista.
It also improves on features that were first introduced in Vista.
Development of Windows 7 has been based on feedback from users.
It is basically a "better" windows Vista version.

I had some issues with the activation with the loader on the 64 bit , I could not get mine to become genuine.
I found this Windows 7 Toolkit v1.8 and got the activation to work and it has some great tweaks also.

To activate (REMOVE 30 day limit aka freeze it and online activation) Windows 7 hit ACTIVATION AND OEM, then tick WINDOWS 7
This removes the 30 day limit and nag screens and activates online, It does not kill the registration by march 2010.. YET!
v 1.8 , I have not tried v 2.1 as of yet.
